HISTORY OF OUR MUSEUM
The specific purposes of the museum include, but are not limited to, the following:
To preserve, promote, and advance Belarusian language, culture, heritage, and identity within the State of Nevada, throughout the United States, and internationally, through educational and cultural programs accessible to the public.
To leverage the unique cultural diversity of the United States as a platform for authentic intercultural exchange, fostering a dialogue between Belarusian heritage and the diverse cultural traditions present in the U.S., including those of indigenous peoples and other ethnic communities.
To facilitate intergenerational knowledge transfer by engaging elders and youth in collaborative folklore projects that blend traditional craftsmanship with modern digital storytelling.
To promote digital preservation and dissemination of cultural heritage, including digitization of cultural materials, virtual tours, educational websites, social media platforms, and online media channels serving the public interest.
To establish and operate a digital museum and interactive multimedia platforms that utilize innovative technologies to preserve and provide global public access to cultural and historical artifacts
